The Cofrin Library has become one of the centers for the Universitarians knowledge hoarding. As with most buildings with large collections of books and other media, it was quickly seized by University students. For many years, it was a bubble in the center of the rest of Occupied Green Bay, before the military was driven out, though no one seems to remember exactly how they were driven out, nor how the students managed to keep the soldiers at bay for so long. Regardless, to this day it is held up as an example of resistance against the Crawley faction and against the military.
Today, the Universitarians use the Library as both a knowledge center and their living quarters. There has been some effort to reclaim more of the surrounding campus, but it is slow going, as squatters tend the be armed.
